How Does the M2-D Differ From Other Mountable Cameras?

It’s really difficult to get high-quality, clear images from high altitudes, especially from a small mountable camera. In fact, most people would say it’s impossible to have a FLIR thermal camera and a visual camera with optical zoom that is also gyro-stabilized in a micro gimbal body. Not with the M2-D!

This unbelievable camera features a 640×480 high-resolution thermal camera with all the features you want and need. It also is loaded with an EO visual camera with optical zoom and digital zoom.

Normally a camera that zooms in from such high altitudes in poor conditions would produce a shaky, blurry image. To get clear images, some have started using consumer-grade wide-angle cameras.

But with those consumer mountable cameras, you can’t get the clear image and zoom capabilities you can with the M2-D. Try reading a license plate with a wide-angle lens. It’s nearly impossible. With the M2-D you can read license plates clearly from hundreds of feet above ground level.
